We met at William Paterson University in the Fall of 2019 as freshmen in the percussion studio! This is us at our first percussion ensemble concert! At this point, we were just friends sharing a stage before we ever imagined sharing a life together.

The beginning of everything! We started dating in the Fall of 2020. Here we are at a Christmas light show about 10 days official as a couple! Since we began our relationship during the pandemic, with nowhere to go on dates, the first few months were a lot of outdoor activities and endless conversations! Some of our favorite first dates were drives down to the Jersey Shore in the middle of the winter, just happy to be anywhere as long as we were together. Here, cold beach days were turned into the warmest of memories.

Officially a year of dating! We made a tradition of going to a Christmas light show every year! Here we are at the Turtle Back Zoo! At the time, we were just enjoying another date together not knowing we were building a lifetime of memories!

Senior Recital Day for Isabelle! We played a piece together during the performance, proving that we make a pretty great team both on and off the stage! Whatever you do, don't ask about the red tie......just kidding!! It's one of our favorite stories!

Graduation day!! Earning our degrees was a huge accomplishment, but sharing the moment with each other was what made it unforgettable! It was hard to believe how far we'd come since that first percussion ensemble concert. Little did we know, our next chapter would be even more exciting than our college years!

First road trip of many back from Ohio! Long distance is not fun, but we quickly learned that no drive felt too long when it meant being together! The miles between us only made us appreciate each other more!

The proposal! A perfect day and a perfect surprise! Justin proposed in the house I grew up in, in the room where we got to know each other during the early days of our relationship during the pandemic. I was so unaware of everything that I was eating peanut butter and jelly—Justin's allergy! The day ended in Hoboken, where Justin played drums with The Nerds and both of our families were in the audience!
